Angel Hour was the phrase I came up with for the one hour a day this man acted right. As opposed to the 23 hours when he didn’t. This song was written to express feelings of wanting to stay in a relationship even though it was not honoring my needs because I was remembering these small moments of connection. However, it is NOT encouraging that choice. I wrote this song so I could express my feelings of longing for someone while maintaining my conviction to kick that man to the curb. Don’t stay with boys who don’t know how to treat you. It was also written to emulating some of the peaceful, acoustic music I enjoy listening to while I read and write.
