About Olivia

Olivia Royal is an artist and creative from Chicago, IL. A singer, writer, and lover, Olivia combines pop/RnB melodies with a passion for fantasy. Her writing is informed by her internal world, as well as the stories and myths she devoured from a young age. Olivia Royal is a classically trained vocalist, and her unique vocal tone shines on every track. In 2021, Olivia launched the PSYCHE, a psychic girl group. It is a girl group made up of the voices in Olivia's mind- her brain (Cassie), her heart (Isabela), and her gut (Yummy). PSYCHE is a multimedia project that fundamentally represents an exploration of identity. As a follow up to PSYCHE, Olivia is currently working on releasing work that represents a more integrated sense of self while embracing play and the multifaceted nature of being a woman.

Love is the lyrical center of many of her songs because she believes the love song to hold an underrated power in the universe. She strives to explore many different ideas within the context of a love song. Olivia strives to create art that serves as a reminder of how we are interconnected in ways that defy explanation. Through love songs we identify powerfully with one another. Those small moments remind us of our shared humanity and create ripple effects throughout the world.
